Day 13--Washington D.C.

Washington D.C.---A Day in Pictures

It started with a ride on the Metro to get into the city

 

 A trip through the Museum of Air and Space

Playing a little Frisbee on the Mall

The day included A LOT of walking.  We figured that we walked about 4 miles through the city and the museums.  The kids didn't complain much at all but they moved a little slow...including one in particular that we had to keep saying "Come on Macy, you gotta keep up!"

We made it to the Hart Senate Office building where we took a "secret" underground train to get to the Capitol.

The kids were amazed at how HUGE the Capitol is!

We then walked down to the Washington Monument....and took the elevator to the top.  

We took the Metro back to the hotel and were asleep before you knew it.  Another day in D.C. awaits tomorrow!
